About Equipment
Equipment has the following attributes:
- Name
- Description
- User Reference
- Target OEE
This is the target OEE for this Equipment. It can be used to compare with actual OEE values achieved.
- Count Sensor
The Count Sensor is the Count Sensor assigned to this Equipment.
- Rate Sensor
The Rate Sensor is the sensor used to collect the rate of operation of this Equipment. The Rate Sensor also determines when the Equipment is Running or Stopped. This also supports the ability to log Down Time and Down Time Reasons.
- Reject Sensor
The Reject Sensor is used to collect a count of rejects.
- Custom Sensors
Customs Sensors are used to collect custom data such as product weight after processing.
- Count Multiplier
A value that is used to multiply the Auto Count to obtain an accurate count of production. In some circumstances the Production Count will be dependant on the Auto Count and Product being made.
- Packaging Factor
Number of items within a package.
- Count is Case Count
Indicates whether the Count sensor is counting cases (or boxes) of items containing 'Packaging Factor number of items'. If "Count is Case Count" is ticked then the 'Production Count' will not be divided by the Packaging Factor. If the Count Sensor is not counting cases and the Count from this Equipment is not to be divided by a Packaging Factor, then the Packaging Factor should be set to 1.
- Packaging type
The name of the package e.g. Cases, Pack, Box or Inners.
- Design Rate
The Design Rate is the maximum possible rate that the product can be made.
- Target Rate
The Target Rate is the expected rate that the Line will be operated at.
- Count Frequency
To define number of items per hour, number of items per minute or number of items per second.
