About Production Details
When Products pass through specific Equipment on the Line there are specific details that apply to that Product / Equipment combination only. In esCollate these are called "Production Details". Production Details can be set individually for each Product / Equipment combination or the Production Detail can be set to use the Equipment Default values (see Equipment).
The following Equipment defaults can be overridden using Production Details specific to a Product:
- Production Notes
Notes to production line operators specific to the manufacture of the specific product. This value can only be entered as a Production Detail, there is no Equipment default value for this.
- Target Weight
If the Product is weight critical or required to be know or tracked, then the Target Weight at the specific Equipment can be specified. Target Weight units can be either Kg's or grams, but need to to be consistent throughout esCollate for the specific product. This value can only be entered as a Production Detail, there is no Equipment default value for this.
- Count Multiplier
A value that is used to multiply the Auto Count to obtain an accurate count of production. In some circumstances the Production Count will be dependant on the Auto Count and Product being made.
- Packaging Factor
Number of items within a package.
- Count is Case Count
Indicates whether the Count sensor is counting cases (or boxes) of items containing 'Packaging Factor number of items'. If "Count is Case Count" is ticked then the 'Production Count' will not be divided by the Packaging Factor. If the Count Sensor is not counting cases and the Count from this Equipment is not to be divided by a Packaging Factor, then the Packaging Factor should be set to 1.
- Packaging type
The name of the package e.g. Cases, Pack, Box or Inners.
- Design Rate
The Design Rate is the maximum possible rate that the product can be made.
- Target Rate
The Target Rate is the expected rate that the Line will be operated at.
- Count Frequency
To define number of items per hour, number of items per minute or number of items per second.
