About Shift Patterns

Shift Patterns describe a combination of different Shifts operating on different days of the week.

A Shift Pattern has the following attributes:

• Name
• Description
• Days
  The days of the week that this Shift Pattern is operating.

About Shifts

Shifts are the predefined hours to be worked on a particular day of the week.

A Shift has the following attributes:

• Name
• Start Time
  The Start Time of the Shift.
• End Time
  The End Time of the Shift.
• End Time is Next Day
  Used to denote whether the End Time of the Shift is on the following day.

Breaks

A Break is a predefined Non-Production Activity that can be automatically generated as part of the Shift.

A Break has the following attributes:

• Name
• Start Time
  The Start Time of the Shift.
• End Time
  The End Time of the Shift.
• Break Type
  Type of Non-Production Activity.
