User Accounts

Access to the Administration application is restricted to Users with System Administration access rights.

Each User Account has the following attributes:

• User Name
  This is a compulsory field and must be unique.
• Password
  This is a compulsory field.  Passwords must have at least four characters.
• Administrator
  If this is set then the User can log into the Administration application.
• Factory Signer
  If this is set the User can authenticate changes made within the Factory Client application where required.
• Must Change Password
  If set the Factory Signer will be prompted to enter a new Password when they next make a change that requires authentication.

Key points:

• At least one User must be created with Administrator access rights.
• Only one User can log into the Administration application at a time.
