Viewing Links

The Links feature is available within the Graphic View of the Activities screen.  This feature highlights a potential relationship between one Production Activity and other Production Activities.

To display the link between Activities that are used to generate reports Activities on the Rate Line Area must be selected.  A Rate Line Area can be identified by the icon beside the Line Area name.

Production Activities must be on the same Line Route and will be linked if:

• There is a Batch and Product match (that is within 2 month before or after the selected Activity)
• There is a Product match and no Batch value and the Start of the Activity on other Line Areas overlaps the selected Activity.  If this does not find a Link then the next Production Activity is also checked.

Links are highlighted by an orange bordered rectangle under each Linked Activity on the production chart.  To view a list of all Links perform the following:

• Select the Activity for which there is interest in whether there are Links
• Select [ View Links ].
• Move to any of the Links or Parts on the View Links screen, select the appropriate line and then [ Move To ].
